Prototype Anodizing & Plating

                        Anodizing & plating

Metalstar prototype understands the variety and intricacy of the surface finish for a functional prototype, thus we had prepared years ago for covering our growing customer demands of finish requirements. The professional team at Metalstar plus to our rich experienced contracted subcontractors, we offer high quality plating and anodizing finishing as below,

*Anodized aluminum ally parts with variety of colors.

*Shining chrome and nickel plating for various metallic parts and ABS plastic part.

*Black nickel plating for various metallic parts .

*White zinc plating and yellow zinc plating.

Anodizing is an electrolytic passivation process used to increase the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of metal parts. Anodic films can be used for a number of cosmetic effects, either with thick porous coatings that can absorb dyes or with thin transparent coatings that add interference effects to reflected light. Aluminum alloys are anodized to increase corrosion resistance and to allow dyeing (coloring), improved lubrication, or improved adhesion.

Chrome electroplating, is a technique of electroplating a thin layer of chromium onto a metal or plastic object. The chromed layer can be decorative, provide corrosion resistance, ease cleaning procedures, or increase surface hardness.

Nickel electroplating, is a technique of electroplating a thin layer of nickel onto a metal object. Similar to chrome plating, the nickel plated layer can be decorative, provide corrosion resistance, ease cleaning procedures, or increase surface hardness.
