Deep draw stamping is a sheet metal forming process in which a sheet metal blank is radially drawn into a forming die by the mechanical action of a punch.  This process transforms flat sheet metal, or blank, into a hollow vessel that may be cylindrical or box-shaped, with straight or tapered sides or a combination of straight, tapered and curved sides. This form of stamping usually involves other forming operations to complete the part such as trimming, ribs flanges, roll forming etc. The following steps and illustration show how to make a hollowed sheet metal part by deep draw stamping way.
